Marge's notebook says Civil War uniform. Book 6B, page 189 states: "In May 1919 old timers were recalling when Perry Company was in Third Iowa, brought about by the return of the 168th Infantry (the old Iowa Third from over seas. That company was organized back in the 80's and were a well trained group of men who were the pride of the city. He was listed as regimental sergeant." |
